Jessica Hawk focuses her practice on Litigation and Appeals, Partnership Disputes and Partner Departure Law.
Ms. Hawk has extensive experience representing clients in state and federal court in a variety of litigation matters, including partnership disputes, contract disputes, financial services litigation, consumer litigation, and tort and mass tort litigation. She also provides advice and counsel to lawyers and law firms on legal ethics and partnership related matters.
Ms. Hawk also has extensive experience in successfully drafting and arguing matters on appeal. She has won appeals for her clients before the California Court of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as both appellee and appellant.
Ms. Hawk is an experienced litigator who has obtained successful results for her clients through a variety of avenues. She has successfully represented clients in settlement negotiations and mediations. She has secured the dismissal of litigation against her clients through demurrer and motions to dismiss, as well as summary judgment. She has successfully represented clients in formal arbitration.
Ms. Hawk is a former law clerk of Magistrate Judge John P. Godich of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana.
